Spanish Colonial

This 10,000 square foot Spanish Colonial estate sits on two acres in Montecito. Simple building forms, playful symmetry, and a variety of classic details evoke the style made popular in the area during the 1920’s.

The rear terraces overlook a pool, city lights, and the harbor beyond. There is a romantic notion of what a Santa Barbara estate should be, and achieving that was my primary design objective.
